Eugene's DIG Streamlines Development

Development can be complex. The City seeks to make it less complex by facilitating development and good design in downtown Eugene and beyond- this is the role of the Development Investment Group (DIG).

DIG supports each stage of development as it occurs: idea development and design consultations, project financing and preliminary design, initial land use feasibility and site/building selection, construction, project completion, and tenant needs. DIG focuses on development in downtown; however, we are also responsive to significant development projects citywide.

DIG serves as a concierge service- let us know what you need and we can find it, figure it out, design around it, ask about it, and do it. DIG is most effective when projects are in their conceptualization stage. At this point we can best engage with a developer to complete the project's financing, engage in design discussions for the development and any privately engineered public improvements (PEPI), assist with land use process navigation, and get a project to building permit smoothly.
