Subsidized Booth Opportunity at Good Food Mercantile in Portland, Oregon

The Oregon Department of Agriculture and Travel Oregon are teaming up to offer booths at the show in a special Bounty of Oregon Pavilion at the 2023 Good Food Mercantile, featuring food and beverage companies from all 7 regions of the state.  Each region will feature (3) producers in which they will have their own table and ability to showcase and sample products.

Business Criteria

  1. Must produce and distribute a value-added product that can be sampled at the event.

  2. Products must meet the Good Food Foundation’s sustainability and social responsibility standards (please reference the attached document).

  3. Must have existing relationships with regional distributors and retailers.

  4. Must pay $250 to secure their spot (a $950 discount from typical vendor fees for the Mercantile) as well as cover expenses related to travel to the event, staff time, and the product sampled.

Benefits of Participating

  • The Good Food Foundation exists to celebrate, connect, empower, and leverage the passionate and engaged, yet often overlooked, players in the food system who are driving towards tasty, authentic, and responsible food in order to humanize and reform our American food culture.

  • Access to between 250-750 retailers and media, with many top national grocers as well as the best of the region at each show. The full list of retailers who attended past mercantiles can be found at goodfoodawards.org/mercantile. Businesses are invited to bring sell sheets – there are no direct sales at the event.

  • $950 discount off typical costs of a booth at the Mercantile.
